The Islamic Input in Medical Practice (IIMP) program conceived in 2008 is a course for post-graduate students in the Kulliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). . The programme covers four topics:

  1. Principles of Tawheed in Clinical Practice
  2. Fiqh Al-Ibaadah for the Sick
  3. Fiqh Muamalah in Medicine; and
  4. Ethics and Professionalism

The main objective of this programme is to expose participants on the beliefs, obligations and ethics in Islam relevant to the medical profession. The programme is designed for Muslims doctors as well as those of other faiths.

The IIMP programme is implemented through interactive workshops and seminars conducted annually throughout the four years of post-graduate studies in their respective field of medicine.
